No matter what your editing needs are, we have an option for you!

Check out our options below: (all options have a minimum fee that reflects a 2,000 word or 1-hour minimum).

Proofreading Only:  $0.015 per word, with a minimum fee of $30.

With this option, we would check your work for grammatical errors, punctuation errors, spelling errors, typos, & tense consistency only.

Line Editing & Proofreading:  $0.025 per word, with a minimum fee of $50

With this option, we would still check your work for all errors mentioned above, but we would add in a style check. That is, we examine your work with an eye to improving its readability and effectiveness, and we provide rewrite suggestions to reach your audience while keeping your artistic style in mind.

Content Editing Only:  $0.025 per word, with a minimum fee of $50.

With this option, we would examine your piece with the big picture in mind. That is, we read from the beginning to the end of your work and inform you of any big issues with your writing. Are there any inconsistencies in style or narrative? Are there plot holes? Etc. At this level, we do NOT provide line editing or proofreading. This is an assessment only.

The Whole Package:  $0.05 per word, with a minimum fee of $100.

With this option, we will perform an in-depth and thorough examination of your work, providing all of the aforementioned editing services. We will proofread for any and all errors, offer rewrite suggestions for consistency, and where we identify large content issues, we will provide detailed suggestions about how to fix them. This option is recommended if you would like your work to really shine, as well as if you would like to improve your own ability to spot these types of errors and improve your writing in the long run.

Please Note: We use MS Word to perform our edits, and for each package that includes edits, we provide you with two copies of the finished work. One copy is the finished product with all changes and suggestions in place. The second copy is a marked-up version. That is, that the edits and suggestions will be tracked in MS Word and will be in red or marked so that you can see all edits we have performed and compare them to your original work, rejecting any changes you may prefer to ignore.
